Infinite stupidity / boldness
A car driver was fined for using his cell phone without a hands-free set while driving. He appealed the fine and justified his behavior by saying that he needed the phone to support his jaw, which otherwise would be too loose. He tried to demonstrate the necessity by extreme jaw movements which made his jaw junctions make a cracking sound. You know how some people make their fingers crack? He did that to his jaw.
The judge turned down the appeal and confirmed the €40 fine. But not only that, he also ruled that the man’s psychological qualification for participation in public traffic should be tested. That’s what happens if you try to play stupid in order to avoid punishment. You’re being treated as a stupid.
